  • A shot taken in the backwaters of the River Murray at Renmark.I thought the reflections on the water were amazing. We love to take our dinghy down the river and explore the backwaters.Unfortunately with the drought many of them have dried up further south. There was still plenty of water in the Murray at Renmark as the locks hold the water back. The river is such a peaceful place, a great place to escape. Taken with Canon EOS 400D Digital SLR CAMERA. EOS 18-55mm lense(whilst sitting in a dinghy). /

  • Generated in Bryce and photoshop.

  • Looking to Kerry from Priest’s Leap

  • A storm clears just enough to let Mount Rainier peek out before the sun goes down.

  • Mirror Lake will soon turn into a meadow; however as the water remains, you can find beautiful symmetrical reflections from Mt. Watkins at Yosemite National Park, California. Mirror Lake is only 1 mile from the dropoff point on the way towards Happy Isles. The lake is actually located within Tenya canyon just below Half Dome and in the early morning the water is very still and clouds reflect much more strongly in the water as evidenced by this reflective photograph.

  • At the Salton Sea….although I can’t imagine actually eating there…I had flies attacking me like crazy when I was out there shooting….They were trying to go in my ears, my mouth, my nose…LOL… For our whole vacation, there were no clouds in the sky…and I was saying that I wish there were some clouds, because I think they add so much to a photo…So, this was our second to last day there…and our last big outing for photo purposes…and wow…did I get some awesome clouds, or what?!
