  • A pastel sunset over Mt. Rainier with a lenticular cap on top and the fog rising out of the valley below. All reflected in a small alpine lake near the crest of the Cascade Mountains

  • A trio of boulders on Indian Beach surrounded by the seas of the incoming tide as the sun sets over the Tillamook Rock Lighthouse. I arrived with another photographer to catch the sunset. It was raining, he left while I slipped on my rainjacket and was able to catch the spetacular colors of this sunset.

  • An evening where I headed to the mountains for a walk hoping to catch some lightning and instead was blessed with a spectacular display of color from the setting sun. A lone stump left exposed by the receding waters of Rimrock Lake caught my attention. Not a lot of light left but a lot of color for sure.

Shot taken between Mannum and Young Husband near the Marina. No photoshop manipulation the dogs face just appeared.   • It rained all day but the sun made a late appearance on this moody Vancouver day. The evening light on False Creek can be just stunning BC Place can be seen in the background, the venue for the 2010 Winter Games opening and closing ceremonies.

  • Cradle Mountain taken from Dove Lake, with the boat shed to the right. The tree to the right is an Australian Gum Tree, or eucalypt. Taken at sunset 5:30pm. I know there is millions of photos of this famous mountain range, so I hope you like this one. Cradle mountain is in the Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Tasmania, Australia.
