Sunrise on Lake Albert, Meningie, South Australia. Taken 45 mins after Majestic Morning – the most spectacular sunrise I have ever witnessed.

We’ve actually had a lot of rain here the last few days. The water you see above is actually part of the flooding we’ve had here in the south of England, and the water is actually a flooded car park!

Mother nature presented me on a last October evening with one of those sunsets that you can hope to see just once a year if you’re lucky. / High layers of scattered clouds, a pure, clean atmosphere and the fact that at the end of october the twilight lasts almost a hour, all this elements contributed in producing a stunning natural show. This is the Po River near to Carignano in Piedmont, Italy. I hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo
After 13 days of non stop rain, it was great to see the sun come up this morning. This jetty is about 30 metres from my back fence, so it didn’t require too much effort – just rolled out of bed and stumbled down in my pyjamas : ) / / Blackalls Park / Lake Macquarie NSW Australia
I couldn’t resist adding the flamingos to this sunrise taken at Cornwall, UK. Photography and editing by Jennifer Woodward © 2008
Sunset at U Bein’s Bridge – Mandalay, Burma. The bridge, made entirely of teak, is said to be the longest wooden bridge in the world. A fascinating human procession can be seen on the bridge at any time of day, but especially at sunset. A large Buddhist monastery is located at the foot of the bridge explaining the large number of monks that use it.
I never did get around to posting all my autumn shots….so here’s another one…there’s a huge group of photogs all massed across the other side, trying to jostle for position on shifting reed beds and yuckky mud, and further across there’s a couple more. I gave up waiting over that side, and moved to the western edge to see what I could see…..now you can see what I could see :) This was processed in NZ with photomatix, back when I was probably a little overwhelmed by the colour….I might reprocess it and see if I like it better with my newer techniques New Zealand / Seascapes / Frogs / Lensbaby / Infrared / Industrial / Spam / Panorama / Landscapes / Real Estate Series / People

The glory of the sunrise is reflected in one of the many rock pools located on the coastline, along The Great Ocean Road. Pentax K20D Camera – S.speed 6 Sec – f27 – ISO 100 / Sigma 18 -125 mm lens – 21mm / Edited in ACDSee Pro3. My Bubblesite showcases images in their categories.
Up at 5am to chance a morning shoot in good light revealed more than we could have hoped for. / Just as Murph & I had convinced ourselves that the sunrise wasn’t going to do much, we realised that we had better look for a foreground to look east instead of pointing the cameras at the sea. / Headed to Rebecca Lagoon on Tasmania’s west coast near Temma to get a double whammy of it by including the reflection and weren’t disappointed at all. / Big sky, magic water, foreshore reeds. / Does it get any better than this? / Straight from the camera this one. / How surreal is this. Magic morning indeed. / Trips to “the shack” are yielding excellent results so far. Must be the frame of mind and karma. / And it got better as we ventured further on foot for the next 4 hours or so.
