After lunch on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas) we went for a walk along the undercliff at Black Rock. I loved the low sun in the clear winter sky and put the camera on the pebbles to get this shot. I had several goes to get the horizon level because I could not see what I was taking.

Today we decided to check out a new place that we had only once been to before back in those days of the point and shoot…lol / And have decided that this is our new place to explore for a while, there were so many possibilities! / We arrived just around 9am, to sus out the rocks and have planned to return soon for a dawn shoot… on the next low tide that is, that tide this morning was on its way out and was still a little close for comfort at some points. / the stormy clouds were moving so fast in some places and yet in the distance there were those light fluffy ones! / It made for nice contrasts! / Since this was a scouting mission we really did not expect to get much, but instead came home with over a hundred shots and some really good ones too! / Cant wait to return!
