We are fortunate enough to live on the banks of the beautiful Murrumbidgee River. Often, as the afternoon wanes and dusk draws near, when the colours and hues soften, I wander down to the river and along the banks, soaking up the atmosphere. / The still tranquility soothes the soul after a long day. I love living in the country!

This oil painting came about when leaving the San Diego Bay on a cruise to Mexico. The old schooner in the light of this beautiful sunset just had to be perserverd. The colors and reflections that night was without a doubt one of the most spectacular sights I had ever seen. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
