“Clouds on the Water, Fire Near the Sky” / Purchase a Mouse Pad of this image I happened onto this gorgeous sunrise over the White River at a time when the water was at its lowest. I was delighted to catch the calm surface for reflections, as the low rising sun was casting its first orange glow over the autumn colors.

Emerald Paradise As Is… / Canon PowerShot S3 IS Rainbow Springs Florida’s third largest spring, Rainbow Springs pump 600 million gallons of water daily and serves as the head water to the pristine Rainbow River. The property was acquired by the State Park Service in 1990 and is slowly being allowed to revert to its natural state. / Beautiful floral gardens surround the spring, and the area is immensely popular in the spring when the azaleas are in bloom. The state also acquired Rainbow Springs State Campground, located nearby, which was formerly privately owned. From the campground, you can tube or canoe the crystalline waters of Rainbow River, or fish for large mouth bass and other freshwater species. / A nature trail provides a lovely walk past two waterfalls and the azalea gardens, and meanders along the Rainbow River. / /

~ Historic War Eagle Mills ~ A fascinating and nostalgic historic site / nestled in the rolling Ozark hills of Northwest / Arkansas, War Eagle Mill is one of the many / picturesque places in the Natural State. I remember riding in the back of the truck, as my daddy took a load of corn to this mill to have it ground, and I remember all those hot pans of cornbread my momma used to cook with that huge pot of brown beans…...boy things have sure changed today!! / You can get a great bowl of beans while visiting this mill, they have a really great restaurant, but I have to say I do not think I have ever tasted a bean like my momma cooked. /

The upper Swan River, one of the Perth main atractions after heavy rain. / The sun settles behind the hills and its rays reflecting off the hills are creating this pastel water colours. / This is the area where competitors will challenge the Avon and Swan rivers in a variety of paddle and power craft in an exciting two-day time on 1st of August. Featured in Focus and Lighting October 2009 / Reflections at Buttermere in the lakes shot while on a recent visit with my bubblefriends Steve Smith and LesleyG. / Here is some info of the small lake courtesy of Wikipedia: Buttermere is a lake in the English Lake District in North West England. Historically within Cumberland, it is 1.25 miles (2,010 m) by 0.25 miles (400 m) wide, and is 75 feet (23 m) deep. It has an elevation above sea level of 329 feet (100 m). A place of considerable scenic value, it is situated towards the head of the valley of the River Cocker and is surrounded by fells, notably the High Stile range to the south west, Robinson to the north east, Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks to the south east and Grasmoor to the north west. The village of Buttermere stands at the north western end of the lake, and beyond this is Buttermere’s twin, Crummock Water. There is a path around the lake which is about 4.5 miles (7.2 km) long, and at one point runs through a rock tunnel beneath the locality of Hasness. Access is by road, from Cockermouth in the north west; from Borrowdale via the Honister Pass; or from Braithwaite and the Newlands Valley via Newlands Hause. The lake is owned by the National Trust and is part of the National Trust property called Buttermere and Ennerdale. This beautiful piece of history is Australias oldest bridge still in use. Built in 1823, when the town was first settled. The town of Richmond was initially the on the main route from Hobart to Port Arthur. This shot taken in the early evening, about 40 minutes from sunset. The upper clouds just started to change their colour. Richmond Bridge, Richmond, Tasmania, Australia. Canon 50D, 18mm. Available Large, and definately best viewed large!!
