This is a photo that I took right outside my house in my driveway after a nice spring storm. I loved the feel of the fog and the over-all surrealism of the scene. Any criticism would be much appreciated. This was shot in RAW with a Nikon D80, MB-D80 Vertical Grip, and Nikon 18-55ƒ3.5-5.6. Enjoy.

I can’t keep Buddy away from looking at his reflection in the mirror on the creek or speaking to the Genie in the creek. If you look to the right of Buddy’s reflection off the water you just might see the Genie’s image. Looks kind of spooky to me. LOL Ed

Today i was lucky enough to be off work so i took a walk around my local lake / at Craigavon. / The sun was dipping and the cloud formations were amazing the Bullrushs were still in bloom and were prolific, this is the same area i took my other picture Bullrush Sunset in January this year with the panasonic FZ30 today i had the pentax K20d with me . / I spent a couple of hours just dreaming of the various pictures i could see and here is one them, My Dreamy Sunset , I hope you like it.

A beautiful March sunset brilliantly reflected on a rain flooded rural Milford, Illinois country road. A day or two earlier the road was impassable. The water was still flowing across the road from the homes and fields to the south. We were able to traverse safely this evening. Each year I have the most spectacular display of dinner plate sized peony blooms in my garden (Paeonia suffruticosa). This year was no exception and thus a photographic moment was in order. This plant is the very light pink bloomer, and the one next to it is has the rose wine coloured blooms. Unfortuneatly the latter is in need of some TLC (I’m horrid with plant care), so I’ll have to wait and see if it produces a show this year, which is not looking promising at this point. :( On this image I used a Photoshop treatment to give it the reflection, and then applied a subtle Orton Effect to soften the overall image.
