  • Wetting a Line
    by Craig Goldsmith

    US$3.99–US$106.40

One of my favourite portraits of my Dad, doing what he loves more then anything else in the world fishing. If he could he’d spend every day fishing, as it is he sometimes wets a line three or four times a day. On this occasion I decided to get up early and document him enjoying his sport. This is the result, it has special sentimental value to me, but I felt like sharing it as something different to what I’ve been posting recently.

  • On the Boards
    by Craig Goldsmith

    US$3.71–US$98.80

This is a companion piece with Wetting A Line taken on the same morning as I captured my Dad doing what he loves best. This one is a little more subtle, and as my Dad now has Wetting a Line on his wall I hope he might have this one up soon too.

  • Ancient Phone
    by Richard Shepherd

    US$3.42–US$91.20

Laying on this floor in this abandoned cinema was this ancient telephone. I don’t know why but telephones seem to be one of the things that i always take shots of while I’m walking round one of these derelict places taking photographs. I wonder how long since this thing has heard a human voice, longer than it is since the site closure i would imagine / !

Being the resourceful type I am, just had to be impressed how this fisherman’s bicycle was put to use. I hope I’m still able to get on a bike when I’m in my 70’s…...............let alone ride one to my fav fishing spot lol.

  • This is only suitable for a card as the image had to be cropped; this was taken over on the Trinity River in Northern CA just this last Fall. This is actually one of the fish that my son caught that day….. Edited with PhotoImpact11. • A reel is an object around which lengths of another material are wound for storage. Generally a reel has a cylindrical core and walls on the sides to retain the material wound around the core. In some cases the core is hollow, although other items may be mounted on it, and grips may exist for mechanically turning the reel. The size of the core is dependent on several factors. A smaller core will obviously allow more material to be stored in a given space. However there is a limit to how tightly the stored material can be wound without damaging it and this limits how small the core can be.
