  • WHY RIDE A MOTORCYCLE? / Motorcycles and scooters emit less greenhouse gas than cars. They also reduce traffic congestion, save travel time, are cheaper to manufacture, more economical to run, and take up less parking space.

  • A statement which pretty much speaks for itself…

  • This is the logo for a group that my boyfriend and I are starting. You can read about it in our blog to come: UrbanSurvivalists This blog is about showing people how to build do it yourself projects that will save them money. This will start off by using a hierarchy of needs. We are seeking to build sustainable rain water catcher in our back yard, plant our own food, and make many other commercial things on our own. While we document our work, we will be posting it live, so everyone can try it!

  • I grew up with this little fellow carefully perched in the Christmas tree every year. He was made in the late 1950s or early 1960s and is about 7 inches tall when folded to a sitting position with his knees tucked into the loop formed by his arms. The green colar is faded, but the red body seems as bright as ever. He may be old but he’s still cute and I sill put him on display each year.

  • My entry to A T-shirt Revolution’s Consumption Challenge Just a little musing on the well worn green message brought about due to everyone’s ferocious consumption of just about everything these days. Reduce: Our reliance on cars and coal. / Reuse: Our plastic bags and paper. / Recycle: Cans and glass.

  • Chalk Pastel and Acrylic Liner on Newspaper / 56cmx 40cm I am doing a series of artworks on newspaper as a part of my own reduce, reuse, recycle campaign. I would like to encourage everyone to recycle and reuse what they can. I just saw an episode on Oprah about how much waste is blown into the ocean and around the countryside – it was really shocking but inspired me to market this cause. Let’s do this, not only for ourselves and generations to come, but for the animals who suffer at the hands of our negligence.
