Red Rock National Park, California / Just a few minutes drive from my home. I’m glad I got this shot when I did. Since this shot, a large portion of the colorful rock has collapsed. It’s slowly deteriorating.

Just got home a few hours ago. Didn’t have near enough time to do the photography that I wanted to do. I also found out that I still have so much to learn about digital to be any good at it. I did get a few shots and here is one of them.

One of the things I like most about the local beaches here is you can often be there and feel like its a deserted island you’ve landed on!!! This is the start of the RedRock river from the ocean inlet …..

My first attempt at extracting a piece from an image and placing on another… the tree was on the mud flats at “jewfish point’ redrock..when the king tide was at its peak…the possum from a previous image…

This is back-beach at Redrock…the surf is usually pretty ‘big and dumpy” on this part of the beach…and with the king tides the waves have left lovely ‘pools’ up near the dunes for people to enjoy!!! Given the luci effect… DebsPhotos

Took this last weekend down the ‘little’ beach at RedRock…overlooking the beach towards what we called ‘the saddle’ the end rock going into the ocean…a favourite fishing spot for many of the locals!! Used topaz adjust 3 to process.. DebsPhotos
