Hey Everyone! Hows tricks? thanks for reading! Yes i have read a few forums that have somewhat addressed the issue of extending the range available to RedBubble customers, but I have only read forums requesting more options for ladies tees, which I totally agree needs to happen, personally I am a fan of American Apparel™’s Sheer Jersey Girly T w/ Merrow™ Hem. So I am here calling out to all who enjoy a bit more range and diversity when it comes to custom T design. CLICK HERE FOR SAMPLES! (All images property of American Apparel™) These are very basic mockups of potential cuts available from American Apparel™ right now. Contemporary fashion has seen a shift in trend towards the V-neck, largely seen now as a fashionable unisex option whereas in the past it catered more to women’s fashion. Massive in the club scene right now, I believe RedBubble should be capitalising on this trend right now and therefore expanding it’s potential market to the trendy hipsters of the inner city club scene. On another note, diversity and range of customisation is a very desirable option to the fashion-conscience RedBubble customer as it allows for a more individual and personalised product. Comfort also seems to be an issue as some customers of mine have had small gripes about the shirts being too tight around the neck. The V-neck options I have supplied here offer a more comfortable fit for such customers. In terms of co-ordination, the v-neck accompanied by a v-neck cardigan is a very fashionable option. The purpose of this journal entry is simply to generate interest and give those like-minded members of RedBubble a place to voice their opinions and campaign to expand RedBubble’s range of cuts for a wider audience. I feel at this point I must take the time to say that RedBubble offer an extremely efficient service and deliver a consistently high quality product. The printing quality never ceases to amaze, complete strangers always comment on my shirts whenever I am out and about in the city. Customers who I know personally have also commented on the high quality of service that RedBubble offer. Thank you again for reading, all comments and opinions are welcome! Cheers, Billmund. x!

  • My email to polyvore/ I'm so proud of us redbubblers!!!
    by Suni Pruett

I sent the following bubblemail to polyvore only a few minutes ago..and I thought that some of you might like to read it as well…I may have expressed a little too much in this email…but I had to stand up for what I believe in…... To Whom It May Concern / You stated in a recent comment that most of your members are young and that you appreciated those who were not rude in their emails to you…. Well…I was not one of those who sent you an outrageously profane message..although I must admit my first one was not very polite either….However, I do not feel like I should have to apologize for standing up for what I believe in…but I will anyway..and I will explain why…...I apologize if I may have seemed rude in a previous email…but it is a very serious situation when you are an artist…..and you live your life through your work, whether that be by a camera lens, photograph, pencil, paint, canvas, digital art etc..and you see that someone somewhere has stolen what you what you worked so hard to make …..what you have put your pride, soul and joy into, what reflects your emotions, what makes you who you are….....For many artists like myself and the many other talented members of Redbubble….our art is one of the things that we are most proud of in our lives…it is what makes each one of us who we are. To use it without permission is not only unacceptable..it is like a stealing a part of our heart and soul….a deep and utter betrayal…led alone changing it and editing it without permission is an insult to each of us individually. Getting our name out there and getting the proper exposure and credit for the art that we produce is part of the gratification that we get when we produce a piece of art….so of course we are going to get more than a little upset when our hard work is used without our permission…..Some of us earn our living by the art we produce therefore when it gets stolen or ‘accidentally’ used without permission…it affects our general welfare on the whole…..not just our emotions and pride…..so pardon me if I was offended by this ordeal and by the fact that someone took and used a piece of my heart and soul. / Thank you for your time, Suni Pruett I know that I may have went over the top with this email that I sent…but I am severely upset about this whole ordeal….and I wanted the people of polyvore to truly try to grasp how it felt to see images that we treasured on display etc….. On the plus side…I am so very proud to be a member of the redbubble community…there is such a tremendous power in numbers and it amazes me that even though some of us are halfway across the world from each other…we stood as one for what we believed in!!! Way to go REDBUBBLERS!! Now we just need to make sure we take the next steps together to further protect our images! Thanks for reading the ultra long journal… I had to get it off of my chest… Suni

  • Hack: Random page of UK group art

The UK group has quite a lot of art in it now (204 pages as of the time of writing) and it has been suggested that having so much art could work against a lot of the stuff that’s in there (a suggestion that makes sense to me). So, I got to thinking: it could be amusing to have a little tool that directs you to a random page. One line of PHP code later: The UK Group Art Random Page Selection Thingy Clicking on that link will take you to a random page. Note, however, that there’s a small problem with the above in that I need to hand-edit the max number of pages as the number of works increase. Still, for a quick one-line hack, it’s not so bad. I think.

  • There are so many wonderful images in the group “THE HEALING JOURNEY”. I am so very very pleased you have chosen to feature “WOMEN OF THE WORLD:UNITE” THANKYOU to you/THE HEALING JOURNEY and REDBUBBLE for making this possible. / So much can and should be said about women. Every woman in the world must make a difference. We must continue to educate ourselves/everyday we must set a new challenge. Women are the backbone of the family/we also have a right to an education/a right to dignity. I have always struggled with the wonder of how women juggle their busy lives and not sure what the answer is. We will always be responsible for bringing children into the world/be always concerned but even with babe in arms and out of the work force /whatever age/we have an important role to play/we are an integral cog in the wheel/we must continue to make a difference……read ….read/educate online/involve ourselves in community/council/politics/ business. Gaining knowledge is like climbing Fuji san……..start out with nothing but hopes and dreams in your heart /half way up the mountain you will look back and think how did I ever do this/but every step of learning is a mind growing more powerful. Then the responsiblity is to use this power/knowledge gained in a way to benefit our world. Nothing is impossible and everything possible if we work together. When I create I have no one in mind particularly so please do not take offence. It is just that everywhere I go I meet amazing women and always my mind is filled with questions.
