Design One Win One (and some bubble money) Ladies and gentlemen, you may have noticed that 8 brand new colours have been added to the adult range of t-shirts, and if you haven’t well, 8 brand new colours have been added to the adult range of t-shirts. Although for the moment the tees still only preview on the site in white, and you only get to preview the available colours when you have a look at the buying page, this will be improved, trust us. As a seller you get to select the colours you wish to have your design placed on during the upload process. Anyway to celebrate this monumental occasion we are holding the first in a potentially award winning line of t-shirt competitions, and to kick it off we have decided to set you a long overdue challenge and get you all to design a tee under the theme: 100% REDBUBBLE Now why would you want to do such a thing? I hear you cry, simple, we’ll give you free stuff, and everybody loves free stuff. Plus you’ll have that warm fuzzy feeling usually associated with winning things, it can also be associated with alcohol for which we take no responsibility. The winner will receive their tee printed in whatever size they request plus a voucher for $70 to be spent on t-shirts, and if we really like it, if everyone in the office starts grinning simultaneously then we may just give them some cash and use it as an official piece of Bubbleware. / Three runners up will receive their own tee in requested size. Voting will be done by the RedBubble community with comments and favourites, a comment being worth 2 points and a favourite 3, the winner will be the entry with the most points by the closing date of June 18th, we will police the problem of ghost accounts being set up as best we can but generally, like in the movies, good will prevail. To be eligible to enter you must create an account with RedBubble, which is completely free to do, and then in the ‘upload your work section’ you will find a t-shirt template you can download and make look good, before uploading into your portfolio for the visual enjoyment of everybody. However, as you’d expect, there are rules: -Only one design per user / -While it doesn’t have to contain the word ‘redbubble’, if it does it must be in the EXACT logo, which you can find on the t-shirt template download, for the darker tees you can use the logo in black, otherwise stick to the same colours. / -Every entrant must favourite and comment on at least two other entries in the competition. / -All entries must be tagged ‘100percentRB’. So show us what you’ve got, polish your mouse, uncap your markers, sharpen your pencils, or do whatever it takes to unleash the t-shirt designer within you. Good luck, onetonshadow Some small print, in exactly the same size as the other print because it’s just as important: / There can be only one main winner, and three runners up. In the case of a draw, Colin the office dachshund will have deciding vote, actually it will probably be down to page views. / We will print and send you your winning design, it will not be bought off your portfolio. / Closing date for entries will be Monday 18th June, winners will be announced on the website. / Anyone failing to keep to the rules reserves the right to feel terrible as they get disqualified. / The $70 voucher should be spent on t-shirts. / Our decision about any part of this is final.

I didnt want to over complicate a simple brief and decided to keep it simple in order to create an impersonal yet attractive design that people would like to wear. I feel this is an important factor when remembering the original objective of the group being to promote redbubble and the North West of England. Hope you all like it and lets see loads more competition entries! Ste

Created purely to part-take in another wonderful competition sure to feature a wealth of talent… / To celebrate RedBubble hitting 100,000 members My design is a modern take using all the elements contained within the name… Red and bubble. Hopefully I have interpreted these in my design in a bold, interesting and memorable way. To get to the nitty gritty of the design rather than spell out the 100 000 I used the little bubbles (although nowhere near 100K) around the outside to symbolise this – they could also represent the artist community and the buyer community both directed into the centre. / Let me know what you think? My entry for RedBubble Logo I am thrilled that my design is a joint winner for the comp!!! / Congratulations to Faizan also ;o)
