Digital Image
Digital collage of images from the Lysterfield area.
This is painted in acrylic on stretched canvas. I love to paint vegetables and fruit in glass and silver. I like the transparency of the crystal with the distorted green capsicum showing through. Also the way the light reflects off the crystal and breaks into colours on the right hand side. See more of Freda’s works: / Boats / City / Fractals / Stillife / Figures Freda’s website

My friend Libby, challenged myself and a couple of other friends one day to a drawing competition. She often did this, usually when we had all been sitting idle for too long in our little studio, and the prize ,was usually some kind of sweetie from the local shops. I cant remember who won this one, but I do know we shared the chocolate prize between the four of us, which is the only important detail, really =) Medium: Crayon, oil pastel, digital, the need for sugar
I don’t usually take photographs of fruit but the reflections & shadows appealed to me

A tractor is a vehicle specifically designed to provide a high tractive effort at slow speeds, for the purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery used in agriculture or construction. Most commonly, the term is used to describe the distinctive farm vehicle: agricultural implements may be towed behind or mounted on the tractor, and the tractor may also provide a source of power if the implement is mechanised. Another common use of the term is for the power unit of a semi-trailer truck.
Another simple shot … I was just trying to be little creative with these 3 small tomatoes!

Selection of açi biber (chilli peppers) arranged by colour. The idea came to me after calling one of my flower photographs a ‘colour wheel’ ....strange the way inspiration takes you! In Turkey these frey little gems are dried to make ‘pul biber’ which is sprinked on food/soup, nibbled as a dried pepper with bbq type meals, ground to a paste for addition to casseroles or pickled as a side dish. Whatever way you eat them they are seriously addictive and not for the faint hearted. / Chili pepper (chilli pepper, chilli, chili, chile) is the fruit of the plants from the genus Capsicum, members of the nightshade family, Solanaceae. Botany considers the plant a berry bush. Though chilis may be thought of as a vegetable, their culinary use is generally as a spice. It is the fruit that is usually harvested. Chili peppers and their cultivars originate in the Americas; they are now grown around the world because they are widely used as spices or vegetables in cuisine, and as medicine.
