  • This is my favorite photo of all! There is a wild red rose by my kitchen door. Late one afternoon, I was clipping tired blooms from the clusters; some clusters were hanging down. As I reached for this one to turn it over, a glimpse of gold flashed in the low sun. I looked again and discovered this tiny little frog napping in the heart of the bloom. I had only the negative and a small digital file from a scan, and it has taken me a month to get it into the appropriate high-resolution format where I can finally offer it for sale! • I just walked outside to put the rubbish in the bin and turned around to see this next door!! So funny, so as usual photographed it and here it is. Now this may detract from the humour I placed upon this shot, but on further investigation I found 2 nesting birds keeping dry. My neighbours are acting as mum’s to these baby birds. awhhh.

This one really caught my eye. Out of 26 rose bushes I’ve never seen one bloom quite like this. Thank you for checking out my new work.

  • A color pencil drawing of a scene uncommon in the world we live in. A little girl holding tightly to her pet, a tiger cub. This is one of my favorite pieces. It shows the innocence of child and a tame look of an exotic animal.

  • To me, this variation has more of an old time feel to it. Perhaps, nostalgia is being waxed. Perhaps love is being waned. Perhaps Tristan sits and waits for the moon. / ........................................ / ......................................................... One can never be sure of the past, for unlike the future, it’s colors change to reflect the moods of the present. They flare, they fade and dim to naught, they move from this to that until you are no longer sure where they belong-ed. Tristan dreams of something almost remembered and, in that dreaming, calls forth colors of life once forgotten.
