  • Top 6 in a Challenge in Good News Group – Sharing and Caring – September 12, 2009 / Featured in Pelicans – May 7, 2009 / Third place in “This Is The Funniest Challenge” in Image Writing – February 22, 2009 / Featured in Image Writing – February 11, 2009 Pelicans at Lockport, Manitoba on the Red River. I get the biggest kick (no pun intended) out of watching these funny birds and their antics on the water. I happened to catch this guy at just the right time as he appeared to be searching for dinner for himself and another!

  • After showing many people this it seemd in 50/50 proportion that they thought this was a sad picture or a happy picture. What do you think? Is she happy awaiting to check out what is in the bag or is she upset at what is in the bag? This was taken outside the Natural History Museum. Not into people pictures but had good responses to this before. I kept the bag red as that was the only part of the shot that was red and is important to the shot.

  • A sweet little female Eastern bluebird makes for an endearing birthday card. Most people I know have a special place in their heart for bluebirds, so I think this card will be well-received. Hope so anyway!

  • With Rememberance Day just around the corner the Poppies up the road have started to come out. I have always loved poppies no matter the colour. This was a photo and I have played around considerably in photoshop to get this final result. : Now also in my Calendar: / :
