Sales of this Design? – 1 sale so far :) My mate AffectMachine made a card/print in response to Seashore Sally entitled – She Being – Response to Sea Shore Sally Seashore Sally by Karin Taylor is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper (ink pastel acrylic charcoal) I drew/painted this a long time ago, it was the first time i applied a real face to a painting, ie real eyes instead of dots etc. and I wasn’t very happy or confident about doing it at the time, as I had done only dots for eyes, and the lady who purchased it asked me if i could apply a face for her…after i did it, she said it reminded her very much of her sister in law, luckily…she liked her sister in law! lol

Putsborough is a beach on the coast of North Devon, England, between Croyde and Woolacombe. Putsborough beach is situated on the southern end of Woolacombe Sands. The surf works at all tide stages but mid to high tend to have an edge. It is the only beach in the area that benefits from some protection from the South/Southwesterly winds, thanks to Baggy Point headland. Peaks are scattered all along its length. It has a fairly slow waves which are suitable for beginners. The sandy beach has some rocky outcrops which provide paddling pools.

I spotted him inching along the sea wall with his board: with its tail end missing. He sat there for a while, staring at the waves and the surfers. After a while he got up and began walking towards the steps extremely self consciously. He finally made it down the steps; the rocks and to the edge of the sea. He paused there too. Finally he waded into the water. He didn’t go far. He simply paddled on his board. His friends suddenly came running and shouted something which was lost in the wind and he promptly got out of the sea. He lingered there for a while. You could just tell how much he wanted to go surf with them out there. I wanted to ask him his name. So after his friends had left, I followed him with my baby sister [Lymm] waddling somewhere near my legs. He was really really shy. When I asked him his name, he just mumbled something which sounded like Sofwaan. I hope he makes it someday. Sofwaan: the boy with the broken board.

It is here you may see professionals from many countries around the world as well as many talented locals competing and enjoying this wonderful watersport. With a slight adjustment in Curves, I reset the White Balance to reveal the brilliant cloudless blue sky and a slight adjustment in Contrast. No Saturation. This is true colour on a bright and shiny summer day here on the island.
