It’s hard to not see red winged black birds this time of year. And hard to not hear them too. But this guy’s got style. Instead of perching on a single limb or cattail, he’s straddled between 2 of them. That’s panache! That’s style! He should get points for that. Collage. Cut the letters out of a magazine clipping of wallpaper. In my office I covered one wall with cork board and created a giant cork board wall. On it I have completely covered it with collaged bits and pieces, photo’s, things that inspire me, cards, everything and anything that I’m attracted too that I constantly collect. Sometimes I’ll take those pieces and collage them together in my journal or just for fun. This one I thought was good enough to be available as a print… hope some of you think so too. I hope you fall in love with this somewhat magical image of mine! I just personally love the bright colors & contrast present in the image. I painted my spoiled rotten cat, Missy, in folk art style; acrylics on canvas board panel. She sits and stares at NOTHING like this for a long time, unless someone snaps her out of it. lol…..I just had to capture this part of her personality in a painting.
