Surfing just before dawn. The water color comes from the dawn light reflecting off high clouds in the sky. Canon 1Ds Mark II / 600 mm focal length / 1/15 second / f/4 / ISO 50 Panning and trying to keep the surfer in one spot in the frame produces the fluidity and quality to the water.

This was taken at Sheep River Falls, Alberta when several kayakers came through. Some portaged around the falls. A couple of them made the jump.

These Chunkies have been very therapeutic to create over the holidays, whilst taking a break from red bubble and having my family around. I have many more to come, and although I won’t be on RB as much, I hope to also be doing some serious painting this year…so i look forward 2009 with much anticipation …

Show your appreciation for a sadly unrecognised sport of Sumo I love sumo. My brother and I always watched it when we were younger, and I make a point of trying to watch it when it’s on nowadays, so this design was made for my OWN shirt, but, to fill up spaces, i put it up in my onlines stores, and it surprised me with its popularity!
