have always wanted to capture a big plane landing but could never be there at the right time or having the wind blowing in the right direction. The low clouds helps bring the plane closer than usual….i could almost touch it….hahhah. To see a hugh metal flying over you at approx. 200kph is…...priceless. The jetfuel, the noise…...Perfect. I am NOT a plane enthusiast , but it is fascinating to watch. Sydney “Kingsford Smith” Airport Boeing 747 landing train plane truck car chair Transportation

Shimpū Tokkōtai (jap. 神風特攻隊) is the Japanese name for the Kamikaze special troops. Kamikaze (jap. 神風, literally: “God-wind”, “god speed”, “light wind”, “spirit-wind” or “divinity-wind”; common translation: “divine wind”) is a word of Japanese origin, which in English usually refers to the suicide attacks by military aviators from the Empire of Japan against Allied shipping, in the closing stages of the Pacific campaign of World War II, to destroy as many warships as possible.

Once had a seriously long Italian love affair with my Ducati Sport years ago, until my brother-in-law wrote it off! / But…my son-in-law rides one and invited me to play with an idea he had one day. If it’s red and Italian, it’s got to be good!

This building was a fabric store last time I was here. Apparently someone with a lot of money now showcases their motorcycles here. There were 10 of them in a huge space. Ducati was the only name I recognized. It was closed so I had to shoot through the window with no tripod. They were Beautiful!!

Even though the original 1937 Ford was a breakthrough design, with headlights streamlined into the fenders for the first time and the famed flathead V-8 giving ample performance by the standards of the day, initial sales were disappointing. Only later was it to become a favorite of generations of hot rodders and customizers. However, the first ones to tweak the ‘37 kept the bodywork bone-stock, because their livelihood depended on stealth and speed-–and room for a load of moonshine!

This is a speed painting in Photoshop. I felt really inspired after watching the new Iron Man movie and decided to finally have a go at speed painting. I had an image open to one side and painted on an A4 canvas in Photoshop. It was created using textured brushes at low opacities, building up to the final image.
