This pattern and line filled image isolates a lone girl in red. Taken in September of 2007 at the De Young Museum in San Francisco, the girl is set upon a dizzying array of stairs reflected by a glass wall which shows the reflection of an imperfect world. / She descends as if on her way to the bottom of an unseen future.

This is a PS composite of three Holga shots, the Frisco skyline, a window on Alcatraz and me on the tube in London. What I am trying to say here is that deep underneath everything that exists, there is a filthy window, and if you can peer through this darkness and into your imprisoned inner being you can see …... ....that the fucking Northern Line is suspended again.

A friend and I attended the Wa:k Pow Wow at the San Xavier Mission south of Tucson, Arizona. The dancing and the costumes were spectacular. A slightly confused trolley across the bay from the San Francisco city. This thing was missing a wheel and rusty as hell. Shot around 7:50 pm before the sun had gone down, a little experiment with my new ND400 Filter :) If you look extremely carefully the golden gate is on the horizon engulfed in the infamous fog that rolls in every single bloody day… / Settings Canon 40D, 17-85mm IS.
