This worker was taking a midday nap on the back of a truck loaded with chillies that were about to be dried. My mate AffectMachine made a card/print in response to Seashore Sally entitled – She Being – Response to Sea Shore Sally Seashore Sally by Karin Taylor is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper (ink pastel acrylic charcoal) I drew/painted this a long time ago, it was the first time i applied a real face to a painting, ie real eyes instead of dots etc. and I wasn’t very happy or confident about doing it at the time, as I had done only dots for eyes, and the lady who purchased it asked me if i could apply a face for her…after i did it, she said it reminded her very much of her sister in law, luckily…she liked her sister in law! lol
