Based on a recurring dream I have had since I was a child (had this dream maybe 6 times of which I can remember)... This is one of a few all-too-rare straight manipulations I have done in a few years now…. What used to be bread and butter now seems more like a discipline…. The glass ball however is artistic license – it was actually a belljar in the dream!!!!

I created this painting from a time of recurring dreams I’ve been having. I’m back in the neighborhood I grew up in, gazing up the block at my old house, wishing the new owners would let me in to revisit my childhood. Not pictured are the Peugeot 504 that brought us there or me and my parents. We had to be there for some reason.
