Tropical Island – Whitsundays
Trying to time these unpredictable currents of mother nature proved to be lots of fun. / This is one of the series of Hutchinson Island shore breaking waves that I took .
He’s got a name for hanging around the water lock at the Port Saint Lucie Canal in Florida, USA. However since this sandbar he crawls up on is behind a fence and in front of a small dam, no one cares. He’s lucky.
Fishing is the most passionate thing anyone can do, all you need is time, and a reel and rod and some solitude from the kids.

Welcome to my winter office, yes I’m one of those that gets to work outside doing something that he loves (skiiing). On a good day, this is a taste of thev view you can get, on a bad day, let’s just say that you don’t want to be out there but I am. / Taken on Whistler mountain looking down and across towards Blackcomb. / Cheers
This was taken off one of the view point while hiking on Whistler Mountain yesterday, a 21km hike (7 hours) with incredible views, Marmotts, Ptarmigan, Alpine flowers, simply an amazing day. Lighting was touch and go all day but hey, hope you enjoy this one.
A GREAT WAY TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOUR THOUGHTS ON A HOT, HAZY SUMMER EVENING… WALKING DOWN THE TRACKS OF THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY SCENIC RAILWAY THAT RUNS FROM CLEVELAND TO AKRON, OHIO THROUGH THE CUYAHOGA VALLEY NATIONAL PARK. / A GREAT WAY TO SPEND SOME TIME WITH YOUR THOUGHTS ON A HOT, HAZY SUMMER EVENING. So here’s a perfect example that our glaciers are getting smaller. This is Joffres Provincial park in British Columbia – Canada. It’s about 45 minutes north of where I live and it’s a 3hour hike (depending on your fitness) to get to this last of 3 lakes. The glacier that is now almost to the top of the sharp slope used to go down half way. I don’t have a photo to compare but I’ve been doing this hike for the last 5 years and it really hit me this year to see how much had melted. / Better seen full screen

This was taken at Toledo Bend Lake in Louisiana. I love the reflections in the water of the string of docks along the shoreline and the silhouettes of the fishermen who are still casting as the last rays of light illumine their way.
Another shot taken early this spring in a very lush area near where I live called Squamish (British Columbia). These guys are only about 45 minutes south of us but yet do not get much snow in the winter time therefore it can be quite humid and rainy at best of times. This means that their forest can be quite “moldy” and lush. This is taken on a hike along Alice Lake where you are surrounded by these trees covers in green lychen. / As is, taken with my handy Canon Xt, 28-135mm lens. / Just follow the path if you dare enter this forest (better viewed full screen)

This is what I’ve been up to lateley on another site. I had opened up a second redbubble account just for the tees, but only uploaded one before I delted it. I figured it was too much of a bother to seperate the accounts. Besides, why shouldn’t I take advantage of having numerous watches to promote new tees? I’m sure some of you out there are divers! Took this yesterday during our walk around Alta Lake here in Whistler, a great beautiful day where the weather was great and the sun was high and strong. Always find that snow is hard to capture without having overexposures or loosing colors of the surrounding tree so I decided to try something. Basically shot this image in HDR, bracketed 3 images from -1.66. 0 +1.66 and this was the result. / This image was taken off the frozen lake facing north, in the distance you see a mountain which is called Armchair, behind the clouds is Wedge and to the left is Mtn Currie which is over 30km away. Season Greeting to all, Merry Christmas and all my best wishes during the Holiday period. Take Care Image taken with my Canon Xt, Tamron 28 to 105 SP lens, / HDR composed of 3 images / Better viewed full screen
A popular destination in the Indian Peaks Wilderness, this lake is nestled against the Continental Divide and is formed by the runoff from Isabelle Glacier.
Well we made the most of theses last few beautiful spring days here in Whistler/Squamish (British Columbia). The sun was out, the heat was on, the snow is melting after what has been a truly weird winter and with the warm air and the water flowing, the colors are coming back and the peaks are still white. this is probably one of the best times of the year to go out and play which we did. / This is an HDR composed of 3 images taken at Alice Lake Provincial Park near Squamish. A beautiful place to relax and enjoy a hot summer day and then dip in the water to cool down, trust me, you’ll cool down quickly. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking.
