Anyhow, this is another shot of the Grand Canyon taken this Spring during our road trip. Have a great evening. Shot taken on the South Rim (can’t remember the point) of the Grand Canyon National park

Towering above at 13,001 feet in altitude, Summit Lake is breathtaking. Showcasing Mount Evans in the background, it displays wildflowers which are found no where else on earth except the arctic circle. Captured in the morning light and processed in HDR, I really wanted to scene to come to life. © 2008 Sharon Anne Mau Best viewed full size where you will see the light play an optical illusion of motion as the sunlight on my right dances on the water. / I created these ripples with the rudder of my paddle boat, lining it up to ripple toward the center cloud! / It took about 8 attempts, adjusting the rudder slightly in my attempts to get the ripples as perfectly horizontal as possible.
