So after my grisly death last week, Mrs. Flibble had a go at sticking back my shredded body with some domestic strength wood glue. Apparently it took her quite a while, and she tells me she only had a few bits left over. I think she did a pretty good job, although I’ve yet to try out all bodily functions. Anyway. After a quick jump-start I was left with the arduous task of recharging my brain back up to 30 percent. Any more than that and things can go horribly wrong. You wouldn’t like to see me when I’m 31 percent, let alone 32. Splendid. A couple of points of note: This photo was excruciatingly painful to make. I really did clamp that clip to my ear and it has a mighty strong spring. Lit with two flashes: main was from above camera left through an umbrella and second was from bottom right reflected off something spangly for a bit of fill. Wide-angle lens about 15cm from gurning idiot. Blog: www.idrinkleadpaint.com

Another fractal creation…. with a story behind it… : ) I’ll save the whole story for a future journal entry but let me share this here… Someone here at Red Bubble has recharged MY heart and I wanted to create something special for her… : ) Thanks Leoni you’re incredible! :D

Taken near Inglewood Qld. This storm ended up over running us and we had to high tail it out of there quickly.

On the wall above the batteries was this small set of circuitry in a tiny hinged cabinet. This is what would be used to charge the batteries when the mains power was working, in order to make sure they had power ready to be used for backup. The switches on the left hand side of the gauge control which of the two banks of batteries were being charged, providing one switch to select battery bank and another switch to select charging or normal operation.

I look to the Sun and smile for a brand new day / Take another breath of clean morning air, and say / May the warmth of your fire melt away icy hearts / So I may radiate your love to all that I touch with art / That I may reach what you shine for, all our relations / That I may seek all knowledge with wisdom and patience / Grandfather, help me to see through the clouds of the past / With courage, I will fight as if each day were the last. This shot was taken by my husband/soulmate, Lynn while we were in the Bahamas – this island was one of 365 Exuma isles scattered around Paradise Island. It was truly an experience to be alone on a beach…

Could I really be so confused? Busy is as busy does and she forgets the world around her. I’m into what I’m doing and time fies like an arrow..from today straight through to next week and the days don’t matter just the art. I’m driven to finish what I start and I just take a break to recharge, refill the inspiration tank. ....but I never do take a break long enough to breathe. Since I am convinced that I must be talented, I must take a few drawing classes, maybe that would get me out and meeting people. If I do will my art be unpure? It has to be totally mine or it feels like I am cheating. / Since I was diagnosed with Parkinsons I am not myself but will never be. The disabilties that show up as it progresses just make me stronger and more determined to empty my brain and poor out the beauty I have collected over the years to share and leave for my family that never relly knew me well. I want them to know what makes me tick. / Now that I have rambled I must go to continue today.
