Folks being a member of the Salem County Arts League of Salem County NJ afford myself and many other local artist to exhibit their art, paintings, photography, etc, at Beans Coffee Shop in Woodstown NJ… / I am excited to share that I have 10 photographs on exhibit for the next two months… some new and some old… this photos are for sale through Beans Coffee shop. / I will also been joining with members of the league to exhibit during the Holiday House tour Dec 5th 2008 in Woodstown NJ at the old bank on main street… time I believe is 6-8 for both events… / So if you are in the area… stop by have a tour, get some coffee while viewing the exceptional art of local people in the area…

i started this painting years ago and it took some time til (it )decided (it ) was done….still without finish. it has been and is connected to my seeking…or spiritual process…looking at and being with the journey…. unattached yet present. i feel strongly about my art speaking for itself since the art work creates itself in a sense and i just listen and do. i trust each individual and their own personal journey. putting my words thoughts ideas or translation feels inappropriate. i trust everyone to receive their own message through the viewing and their own intimate relationship with the work. mixed media on wood

The entry to the Minya winery, near Torquay on the Great Ocean Road, Australia. The name Minya is Aboriginal for ‘The Place of Many Birds’. The winery, situated on the banks of Thompsons Creek is home to a wide variety of native birds and waterfowl. It has a fine range of wines available and plays host to a number of concerts, called “Minya by Moonlight” during the Summer and Autumn months, in its own ampitheatre, overlooking the waters of the creek.

THIS IS A PAINTING DONE IN PHOTOSHOP, FROM AN ORIGINAL PHOTO TAKEN IN 1955. THE VERY FIRST ONE I EVER DID WAY BACK IN 1993. VERY DIFFICULT TEACHING MYSELF HOW TO PANT WITH A COMPUTER INSTEAD OF A BRUSH. THIS IS A PAINTING OF MY MOM AND DADS WEDDING AND CAKE. I DID THIS AS AN ANNIVERSARY GIFT FOR THEM.

The Gresham Palota is a recently restored Art-Deco masterpiece. It was originally built and owned by the Gresham Insurance Company in London and was concieved as an arcade for shops with luxury apartments above. It was heavily bombed during WWII but in recent years has been bought and restored by The Four Seasons Hotel chain. They have tried to remain true to the original Art-Deco features however, there are some modern touches like this beautiful chandelier which is comprised of several pieces of twisted, hand-blown glass. It looks like a giant ball of flames floating over the recption desk. Stunning.

One of the downstairs reception rooms in the old hall, amazing it still has the swags over the windows, bloody pikeys have been in and taken all the plumbing!!

Even the bathroom in the reception was that little bit grander than the rest of the building with the larger sink and the parquet flooring, this was really quite a beautiful building, the people who got to use this as a hospital have to have been some of the luckiest sick people ever, if you excuse the oxymoron.
