Thank you to the people who made suggestions about a possible title for a recent picture of slightly ramshackle hut on the kings dock in Liverpool. Having been given some good ideas and taking one suggestion up “the leaning tower of Liverpool” I have decided to go with “Farewell”, this describes how I feel about all that is a little shabby being taken over by the new and shiney in the city, after all, it was the shabby I liked most when I first visited Liverpool.

My right eye is unfocussed I just realised after looking at my last pics and also when taking a pic of my eye closeup for iridology I couldn’t look properly..I was told to my great and horrified shock and dismay that my eye condition is not going to get any better. especially because it runs in the family. My eye test will be duly booked. I’ll hope that something can be done to improve it and go beyond the diagnosis to a health beyond what a human limited mind can produce as the current cure. Stronger lenses again?!! Maybe it was just an insect in my eye?!! blessed be / Samantha

I have been writing recently about two of the most significant deaths in my life to date: my father on 31 October 1997 and my maternal Grandma on 10 July 2009. Anyway, amid the grief and nostalgia, I have really found writing a great balm. And feel privileged that some of it has led to features in the groups below. Warrnambool, 1 November 1997 has been featured by The Art of Pain (thanks Julielala and Erika) Grief-stricken by the 23rd Psalm has been featured in All Out Emotion (thanks Jane and Dana) I am honoured that people like and relate to these works and I thank everyone on RB who offers me such unconditional support, healing words and friendship. Thanks doesn’t seem like a big enough word for how hugged and positive I feel when receiving beautiful comments or features!!! (But it is the best word I can think of so will have to suffice) / Thanks!
