found in an alley way in Cowes Phillip Island. Not exactly a gritty urban existence but the message was there all the same!
This is my Doom skull logo i am currently working on for a bigger piece that i will eventually finish, but i liked the skull as a solo element as well so i thought i would upload it as a shirt design! Featuring CCTV is always watching, capitalism barcode mouth.. can anyone tell me how to upload a close / enlarged version of my design into this section so people can actually view it properly?
What does it mean? The question is: what should it mean? It should mean that we’re unique, we think for ourselves, and we’re going to make a difference in the world. But that scares some people. So tell those people that it means that everyone should just try to be the same. That way they’ll get out of your face. Be normal, it’s your disguise.
Sometimes Being Normal just isn’t enough. At those times you must be ULTRA Normal! I am, right now, for instance. Plus, I really love that show.
Same design but suitable on a black shirt!
That transition period between dependance and rebellion caught here here the face of this wanna be young girl. Enhanced by the graffiti on the gate written by rebels before her.

A depiction of Boudicca rallying her troops to battle against the Roman Empire, in a desperate attempt to halt their empire building and globalisation. A brave, but failed, effort. It cost her dearly. Boudicca lends herself to a variety of supporters. To some, her actions represents a counter to the globalisation of the western world. Yet perversely Margret Thatcher visualised herself as Bouddica when she was dismantling the infrastructure of the UK, and softening it up for globalisation, which accelerated under Blair. Eventually, the Roman Empire was held in check by the Caledonians in the highlands of Alba (Scotland). Perversely, it is now a Scot, Gordon Brown, who is desperate to uphold the Globalisation Empire. How things change!
A pillar is similar to a column which is a vertical support structure in architecture, but the base section is any shape but circular. It transmits, through compression, the weight of the structure above to other structural elements below, thus it supports the arches. In this case not only functional but beautiful!
My husband particularly liked this shot! The clouds had darkened considerably and all of a sudden a small opening appeared, right above the steeples, as if the heavens were sending a ray of sunshine to us below. “A human being is a part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feeling as something separated from the rest, a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty.” Albert Einstein Featured in the Stillness Speaks group.

The River Garry at Killiecrankie, near Pitlochry, Perthshire, Scotland. This shot was taken in June 2003 when the water level was really low. Killiecrankie (Gaelic: Coille Chneagaidh) is a village in Perth and Kinross, Scotland on the River Garry. It lies at the Pass of Killiecrankie, by the A9 road. In 1689, during the Jacobite Rebellion, the Battle of Killiecrankie was fought on the northern edge of the village. It was the first victory of the Jacobites – their Highland charge terrified and overwhelmed the British Government army under General Hugh MacKay in only 10 minutes. Donald MacBean, one of William of Orange’s supporters, having lost the contest, is said to have cleared the pass, from one bank to the other, at “The Soldier’s Leap”. Although it was a stunning victory for the Jacobites, it had little overall effect on the outcome of the war and with their leader dead (John Graham of Claverhouse, 1st Viscount Dundee (Bonnie Dundee) was fatally wounded at the very beginning of the battle), their forces were scattered at the Battle of Dunkeld the next month. An eponymous folk song commemorates the battle. A 1966 recording by The Corries was a pioneering use of the music video. BEST VIEWED LARGER Related shots can be found at: / Highland scotland.
