The fantasy behind this is based on The Mabinogi- a famous Welsh legend. Arawn is the King of Annwn, who appears in the first of the four branches of The Mabinogi. This is how I imagine his kingdom- both glorious and apocalyptic. (The photograph was taken in Milan, and altered using PS CS3).

Dear William; Well honey its been 9 days I have been down here in the submersible, I’m studying the dolphins this month. I wish you were here to see them all interacting, its just amazing. They dont seem to be bothered with my presence anymore. / Ive been studying these beautiful creatures daily and the team wants to test their certain abilities and game behavior. We placed large cubed objects on the floor of the ocean to which they could be tested for long extended periods of time. It didnt take long until they did accept the objects, or even the lights going on when they entered them. Our little friends appeared to love this one in front of me the most and are joyously entertaining themselves daily with little games like, who can could turn through the cube the quickest. The elders are less likely to join in but remain near by. Perhaps their knowledge of such non sea elements are considered a breach of territory or considered a possible threat. / Well I better get back to work….Talk soon! / . / . / . / Journal Entry: June 12th, 2012 / Day 9…. / Quadrant 8 / Subjects: Ling’s Pod / Time: 2:34pm / Grouping: Ling’s pod has remained since dropping the cubes. No other pods have appeared. / Territorial Issues: Ling appears watchful of outside interference, even small fish / Flashing Light Reactions: Adults still unsettled, young adults intriqued / Gaming: The young adults appear most engaged while others try but end quickly, still unsure why / Emotional Stress: None at this time / Time of Cubing Interactions: Mostly between 10am & 4:40pm, seems feeding schedules counter the play activity. ©2007 Lisa C. I like the pink & black myself, plus I think the negative space at the bottom nicely balances the whole thing, but that’s just me. ;-) / Created with FTP.

Digital Abstract, They mean different things to different people so you can see something completely different every visit or maybe you see the Devil’s head looking down upon the Grim Reaper. The Devil is in the middle of the image about a third down from the top. No more clues, I wouldn’t want to spoil your own experience of my work. /

Sepia can give photos a timeless quality. This path is far into the forest away from civilization where I have taken many pictures of the miracle of nature’s beauty. I walk with my dogs and feel the serenity of this special place where I lose the sense of time and space that is so necessary in our often too stressful and busy lives. The light at the end of the path suggests entrance into another realm. I want to thank Faithart, a member of RB, a brilliant artist and poet who chose to write a poem to pair with “A Timeless Path.” I would highly recommend viewing her stunning art work. Midst the silence of the forest / I can hear my footsteps / As I go. / Somewhere above a bird is calling. / Walking along the pathway is like a treasure hunt. / Around each corner is a pot of gold. / Out of the light into the shadows and back again. / Measured footsteps matching the rhythm of the soul. / The trees are playful. / Their leaf-laden branches sway in the breeze, / Making geometric patterns with the sunlight. / But summer is retreating. / Soon the leaves that fall in twos and threes today / Will be jostling for a space below. / I must hurry. / I want to arrive before darkness spreads its shroud / And the light at the end of the pathway is quenched. / The end is the beginning. / I shall return. / Faithart /

I saw these reflections one night near the Meatpacking District of New York City. It reminds me of a woman who is ‘lost in love’...nothing matters during her hypnotic love for the new ONE in her life.
