A turbulent year, reflected by storm , / with power, excitement and pain. / With coolness refreshing, like breezes in summer. / With tears like the sweet fall of rain. The winds carrying scents of some interesting place, / bring sand grains to prickle the skin of my face. / So has the year gone. The exquisite pleasure, / shining like lightning; a transient treasure, / now lost in the grey cloakâed clouds.

This ground squirel has its cheeks full and is quite chubby. It will curl up in a ball in an underground burrow during the winter and hibernate. The picture was taken at Seven Falls Canyon in Colorado Springs, Co.

These two brothers were just contrast of each other… the little one was just shy and the big brother, meaning of the word: Brave! / at the first moments he didnt even look at me… I thought he was scaring! but after some minutes, he turn to be Ok but not so easy! always at this mood… he was kinda ‘wonder for me by his age… a really “touching” look! professional ems in cambridge, mass. nikon d2x. shot at 4 sec, 3.5/f two smoke machines were placed to the left of the ambulance, and the emergency lights were turned on. one of the harder parts of getting this shot was making sure the models kept very still. i usually tell them to hold their breath when i am trying to get a shot like this. it was a long shoot, because of the wind blowing the smoke around, models moving, and the obvious lightplay, but i think it was worth it.

That day was a special day in Jodhpur, India and many gypsies come over for a party, so i was the lucky one to shoot all these beautifull people. these girls where behind a little foodstall making themselves ready for the next dance..I never really watch the performances , I rather hang around the back and see what happens there..
