My son’s nitrous powered remote control car hits a puddle at speed. Shock wave effects can be seen on the spray as well as the droplets being spun of by the wheels. The actual speed of the cars is around 40 mph, but the scale speed is over 100mph.

Im a realistic chap and firmly believe in the phrase “If its too good to be true the it probably isnt true”. So with that in mind i ordered Photoshop CS3 from here http://www.reynard-software.com/index.html – I bought it with my credit card with the thought that if it is a scam/pirate version then Im covered and can dispute the payment with my credit card co’. After 6 attempts to contact the company with absolutely no response when the 4 day delivery date lapsed to 6 then 7 then 8 and more days I started to trawl thro’ Adobe’s site for piracy reporting just in case. My software arrived on the 13th day (inc weekends) and low and behold its a pirate copy!... I curiously installed the software and all went fairly well until I entered the the product key and used the activation code generator and was told that the product key has expired and photoshop shut down … and wont open again …. I’ve reported this to Adobe and they’ve asked me to send the software to them so they can investigate. So, once again, if its too good to be true then it probably isnt true. I’ll keep you up to date with my claim thro the credit card co’. Just to add to my woes i ordered an RC-1 remote for my 400d. Two turned up today from different suppliers (must have cocked another Amazon order up somewhere :o/ )..... Neither of them work!!.... cant believe it!!.... Anyone having problems with theirs? Ive swapped the batts etc, wont work :( Cheers guys Paul

When rebuilt in 1890, the gate of this RC church was initially marked by canons left over from the battles with the French, then statues of the Saints were added on top, which gave us the famous “Canonized Saints of Bay Bulls.”

I would love to start a group just for penguin pictures. Since all new groups require two hosts, would anyone be interested in joining me? I think these little guys deserve a group of their own to showcase their beauty. I would also like to be part of a group for remote controlled items. I have several pictures of RC cars and helicopters, but don’t really see a group that’s appropriate. I’m open to helping someone else co-host a group they want to start if you’d like to do a trade-off. I’m on RB practically every day (yes, my addiction is that bad, lol), so you wouldn’t have to worry about having a dead-beat co-host. =)

This is an old Catholic Church in my home city of Sunderland. I chose to capture this building because of its architecture and stone work.

My brother went to the track to race his car so I thought it would be a good chance to get some action pictures.

This is the new track that was just opened a few miles from our house. My husband is anxiously waiting to get his car running so he can try it on the new track. These guys were pretty good.

This one is the first of a series of 4 entitled toys of yesterday. Actually I used zipzapps, the once infamous radioshack mini rc’s whose corporate selling point was that kids could buy various things to customize the cars. If kid one buys the turbo engine, then kid 2 can’t beat him in a race. So kid 2 buys the super engine, so kid 1 buys the even more powerful engine. Then when they both have the max engine and gear, they would go and buy parts like tires or wings so that their car could in their minds function better, when in reality, on a miniature scale, it doesn’t really make a difference. After all, its not like these things could drift.
