90×160 cm canvas. The Fool is looking for a new path, a new aspiration and inspiration for his life. Sitting uncertain at a cross-roads, he notices a blind wise woman listening to two brothers argue over an inheritance. They have come to her for judgment. One brother has the whole inheritance, the other has nothing. “I ask that all of it be given to me,” the poor brother demands, “Not only because I have a better right to it, but because I will not be wasteful with it, as he is!” But the rich brother protests, “It is rightfully mine and that’s all that should matter, not what I do with it!” The woman listens, then awards half of the rich brother’s inheritance to the poor brother. The Fool thinks this only fair, but neither brother is happy. The rich one hates losing half his wealth, and the poor one feels he ought to have gotten all. “You were fair,” he remarks to the woman after they have left. “Yes, I was,” she answers plainly. “With only half the inheritance, the rich one will stop being so wasteful. And the poor one will have as much as he needs. Even though they cannot see it, this decision was good for both.” The Fool thinks on this, and new insight on his own life comes to mind. He realizes that he has spent his life achieving worldly ambitions, physical goods, while leaving his spiritual self to starve, primarily because he didn’t want to make the sacrifices necessary to feed his spiritual self. Now, he sees that this is necessary, the only path he has not walked, one he must walk to regain his equilibrium. Thanking the woman, he heads out with new purpose. It is time to balance his own inner scales,This artwork is also about Karma . THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVERS / 110 X 160 cm canvas. / For details see it in a large view. The Fool comes to a cross-road, filled with energy, confidence and purpose, knowing exactly where he wants to go and what he wants to do. But he comes to a dead stop. A flowering tree marks the path he wants to take, the one he’s been planning on taking. But standing before a fruit tree marking the other path is a woman. He’s met and had relationships with women before, some far more beautiful and alluring. But she is different. Seeing her, he feels as though he’s just been shot in the heart with cupid’s arrow, so shocking, so painful is his “recognition” of her. As he speaks with her, the feeling intensifies; like finding a missing part of himself, a part he’s been searching for his life long. It is clear that she feels the same about him. They finish each others sentences, think the same thoughts. It is as if an Angel above had introduced their souls to each other. Though it was his plan to follow the path of the flowering tree, and though it will cause some trouble for him to bring this woman with him, to go somewhere else entirely, the Fool knows he dare not leave her behind. Like the fruit tree, she will fulfill him. No matter how divergent from his original intent, she is his future. He chooses her, and together they head down a whole new road. In today’s post card I’d like to share with you my thoughts on the relationship between RedBubble and the members of the site. The way I view the relationship is that RedBubble’s here to act as a catalyst and facilitator. RedBubble is not about ‘RedBubble’ – it’s about all the people that are part of the site. RedBubble shouldn’t become the centre of attention. RedBubble’s job is to take care of all the background stuff. The website. Production and logistics. Payment. Solving problems. Listening. RedBubble’s job is to lower barriers – to make things easier. But I don’t want RedBubble to do everything. Two things we always want to leave up to you: being creative and sharing your creativity. For example, if you’re interested in selling your work I’m a firm beliver that the the very best person to share / market your work is you! Why? Because we’re all relational creatures – we value a sense of connectedness. I’d much rather buy a t-shirt from Ed then someone I don’t know because each time I put it on it reminds me of his crazed English demeanor. And he’s pretty cool (but don’t tell him). (apologies for the re-posting, I was told by RB to make this a journal entry rather than a “writing” entry – please re-favorite this entry instead) Calling all Groupies… I’ve recently been preparing a number of RB utilities to make my life easier, which I will share with all of you to use. This is a utility for displaying each of your art works, with a list of which groups it has been submitted to. All on a single page. Disclaimer: this has nothing to do with RB, don’t go blaming them if it goes wrong. This is just me, making my life easier and sharing it out :-) Comments, suggestions, criticism all welcome! :-) My Art in Groups: / http://www.documentmanagement.org.uk/rb/RBartgroups.php By default, it displays the latest 20 pieces of art, but you can change that number up or down on the login screen. Use 999 to get everything. WARNINGS / 1) This utility will take a while to run. It has a lot to do to collect that info. Be patient! / 2) The utility does not store passwords, but it doesn’t use encryption either. If your RB password is the same as your bank account’s – Change it! / 3) Don’t get confused by the checkboxes next to the groups name, they don’t actually do anything! I hope you find it useful. A Painting by : Shree / Expressive Excellence by : Wendy Slee Well friends this is a painted moment of two sisters swinging together after whole days work, where one is elder sister and another is younger sharing and discussing their friendly issues from their lives. I wanted to show their love, bond, respect, intimacy, closeness, affection, feeling of security and a sense of friendship being two real sisters that they can share and exchange anything as they are more like friends than sisters. In my country India its a tradition that after the family lunch or a dinner all the males sit together in a family room to relax and share a little talk on general issues and all the ladies of the house sit in ladies room where in the centre there is a big engraved swing hanged and the eldest lady of the house sit along with others on that swing and they too share and make fun on their daily issues. My artistic painting is excellently expressed by one of the finest artists on RB – WENDY SLEE…read her awesome poetic thoughts and enjoy this swinging moments .!!!!!!! A moment in time, / Gently swinging, / Carefree, / The future poised, anticipating, / For a moment holds its breath, / Potential radiates out in all directions / Awaiting our choices, / The waves we will make, / Such simple footsteps, / Our perfect creation. How to add your calendars to your bubble site. Today i thought i would share with you wonderful bubblers How to add your calendars to your bubble site, this is what i came up with and it seem to work great. what you will need to do is: 1- a photo that shows your calendar/s you might wish to make a group of photos from your online calendars covers in one image in photo shop , or if you already have calendars of yours that are printed already by REDBubble you might want to take a photo of them and use that . ” that is what i have done “ 2- simply use the upload a photo and add that photo to your profile. 3- now you will have to start making links , i know this is not easy for some people but here how you do it , all the work you will do have to go in the box where you add your own comments under that file upload , the place where you add text or images to show next to your images on the right hand side. / before you start open 2 windows of Red Bubble as you will keep moving from one to another , one to do the work on and the other to copy stuff from go to the image of the calender you want to make a link for copy the URL address which can be found by clicking right click on the image and then go to properties , just copy the line next to location of the image , it will end with JPG. now you will need to paste that URL into the box ” the box in the upload or edit page for that image you loaded” , now add ! in the start and the end of this URL line , no space. now you will have to make this URL ” the calender image ” into a clickable link and the way you do that is to add ” to the start and ”: to the end of that URL like so it will look something like this ! http:/images-2.redbubble.net/img/calendars/page:0/product:calndar/size:medim/view:preview/1793774-7-al-neaimi-art.jpg !> notice the start and the end, i did leave a space so you can see it , you should not leave any space in the start or end. now you need to have the address where that calender is so go to the calender ” use the second redbubble window which is open” copy the address from the address bar and must start with http://www / once you have that just copy it to the end of the line you were working on so it will look like this ”! http://images-2.redbubble.net/img/calendars/page:0/product:calendar/size:medium/view:preview/1793774-7-al-neaimi-art.jpg !”: http://www.redbubble.com/people/alneaimi/calendars/1793774-7-al-neaimi-art NO SPACES / you are done with the link for this calender , you can do the same for the number of calendars you have , they all go in that box. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—CLICK SAVE-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- then when you are done with this it will look something like THIS ok now we are done with that hard part , the fun part is to add it to your bubble site 1- the image you loaded you have to set it for sale , i made mine for sale as a card and marked it up so it shows the price of my calender not a card price , you will know why later . 2- go to your bubble site / 3- click on mange the gallery / 4-create a new set call it ” 2009 calenders ” or what ever you wish to name it. / 5-now click on your library ” the red box “ / 6- go to the bottom of the art list and find that photo you added / 7-drag that image into the folder called ” 2009 calender “ That is all you are done :-) HERE how it looks in the bubble site Best of luck to all of you wonderful people. regards Al Neaimi /

I’m sure many of you are aware of a chap named Jeff Burns and are very glad to see him back around on the Bubble in full force. I have been investigating his sabbatical from the Bub and have some shocking revalations to share with you all. Jeff’s old avatar looked like this shot: I then discovered by posing for the same shot That Jeff Burns was actually only 2 foot 8 inches tall! He worked at the secret hide away chocolate factory of Wally Winker situated behind the Giant Eagle in Ohio. Jeff worked with all the other Oompa-Loompas and Lepricorns But this was just what he did for a living, it was not his downfall. His downfall came when he picked up his first IR lens. I’ve seen IR shots, Naomi Frost does them to perfection Cool as ice and soothing. Jeff unfortunately ordered his IR over the internet and when it arrived in the post he read the address label… JEFF BURNS / In a small box under the tree / Ohio In his excitement he didn’t realise it was his name but thought it was an order. So Jeff grabbed his matches and set fire to everything, shouting Jeff Burns, Jeff Burns, i’m a twisted firestarter! The photographic results were amazing But the trail of destructiction made him a wanted man and he hid (which is very easy when you’re only 2 foot 8 inches tall) whilst things quietened down a tad. So he’s back As the little Gay Pirate in search of the pink bandana, making up for setting fire to everything by using his super powers To freeze water and pour it over the fires he’d previosuly started He’s also back as Bono from U2 in a vague attempt to look taller Here’s to you buddy, looking good
