  • Early morning Winter photo of Chirk Aqueduct, North Wales. The aqueduct was built between 1796 and 1801 by Thomas Telford and William Jessop, and is 70 feet high.

  • While in Nepal recently, i visited a place called Nagarkot, which is renown for its views of the Himalayas. i got up early for sunrise in hopes of a clear day with panoramic views out to the Himalayas. Unfortunately, it wasn’t to be, and the clouds were in to stay.. However, it let me get this shot of the suns rays shining through the clouds to the hills below. You have to work with what you’ve got, and sometimes, that’s not so bad. Canon 400d + 18-55mm kit lens

  • Staying at Mollymook, on the south coast NSW for work last week and I couldn’t believe what a gorgeous area it is. For me this captures the very first light after the sun peeks over the horizon – the reflection on the rocks and the cool green water strike a wonderful contrast.

  • I was fascinated by the variety of patterns found in the sand on the beach at different times of the day. This shot was taken at dawn. A combination of shadows, light, undulating waves , flotsam & jetsam and one lone footprint, I presume… Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, February 2009
