St. Aldhelm’s Chapel near Worth Matravers, Dorset, England. The history of this chapel is unclear. There are stories of it being built in 1140 as a memorial / warning beckon by a farther who lost his daughter in the sea below. What is clearer is that the building fell in to disuse and had been restored by 1874 by the Earl of Eldon.
