  I was, as I often do in my free time, pondering the nature of evil and the idea of Agnosticism as the only logical approach to faith.   Absolute Relationism is the shining mot juste of our age. As well as being philosophically and linguistically discredited, it has set in place a royal road into the mainstream for reactionary opportunists (to call a spade a spade: bigots) who share nothing of the liberterian enlightenment which they abuse in their quest for power. There are absolutes – of evil, of illogic, of unreason – against which it is time to make our stand. But who heard of anythjing so antiquated as “making a stand” in today’s world? The truth is that liberal relationism has nothing to do with the enfranchisement of the truly dispossessed: political or otherwise. It is a modish front for niche marketing. The ‘global village’ has nothing to do with enlightenment through diversity. It has to do with a million more ways to sell Coca-Cola. Who but a living fossil of elitism even heard of Russell or Wells or Orwell?
