I took this photo with my little Canon A95 digital, while i was on top of the highest point on a 4-wheel drive track known as the ‘Sky Track’. Stitched it together in photoshop.

One of Western Australia’s highest peaks at 1095m.
This was taken early one winters morning when I decided to go for a bit of a drive along the northern side of the Stirlings. The clouds were rolling over the ranges and looked like they were alive… I just loved the way they moved and were constantly changing.
For in case you haven’t already noticed: yes I like the West MacDonnell Ranges National Park a lot. There were these great clouds hanging over me blocking the light and letting through patches of light that painted the landscape. Canon 5D / Canon 24-70 F/2.8 L / Tripod
On a snowshoe hike from Nerada Falls to Reflection lake a side stepped the trail and let a few hikers go by. And of course took a few shots with the Tatoosh Range in the back ground. It was an overcast day but I love the look of this shot.

Just out of the Arkaroola Village in the Flinders Ranges, / I spotted these brumbies in the distance (about 700m) away. I left the car on the side of the track and quietly walked in their general direction trying to get close enough for a photo. When they spotted me, I expected they would turn and gallop off, however they did the absolute opposite. When I realised they were running straight at me, I quickly looked around for a tree etc (as you can see by the landscape, there is absolutely nothing to hide behind). I knew they wouldn’t actually attack me, but it was still slightly unnerving even for a true horse lover. They came to a complete standstill about 10m in front of me and just stared. As you can see they aren’t in the best condition – I have no idea what they could possibly eat as the landscape was completely desolate. The low level cloud added to the atmosphere of this amazing encounter with these beautiful animals. / Canon 5D / ISO = 500 / Aperture- f13 / Shutter Speed = 1/200 / Focal Length = 200mm

Twelve months in my beautiful hometown. Every season is completely different – different smells, different light, different colors. It goes from being really cold with crispy clear air and soft blue colors in the winter to brightly colored, warm, sunlit sceneries in the summer and autumn. Everything in between is equally beautiful – snow slowly melting, nature awakening, flowers everywhere, mountains glowing at sunset, peace and quiet in the fall, ....and then, again, the first snow flakes, everything calming down. It was about time I made some of my “home pictures” available as a calender. Here it is, hope you like it!
