This house gives me the creeps bad,the story goes that there was a family living there,a man and his wife and twin girls,when the girls hit their teens they met a Old Lady down on Rattlesnake Road that was believed to be a witch,she taught the girls witchcraft and when the parents found out they were furious and the twins killed them,They were reputed to dismember stray animals in their ceremonies,they eventually dis-appeared without a trace and the spirits of the animals still wander around the house at night .Thats the story and I won,t go there to verify it you can bet your life on that.

All right,It was a very dreary morning,and i thought to myself “Self” this would be the perfect time to get interior pictures of the Ramsey House.Well I didn’t .Do you know the feeling when the hair on your neck stands up,well mine had starch in them.God this is 1 spooky place.I got real close,close enough to get this shot thru the window and oh well I kind of felt like the Lion in the Wizard Of Oz,repeating”I do believe in spooks”.I guess over the years hearing all the stories about this place is implanted in my mind. One day soon I promise I will go inside and get some shots of this fabulous place.This house is in rural southeast Va.The full story of this house is in a earlier picture I took ,not as close as this one.

This exquisite creature is Lola Lamour, a beautiful woman who sings wartime favorites all over the country. She also starred on the T.V programme Time Warp Housewives focusing on women and couples who live their lives completely in the past. Lola is a lady whose passion includes living, dressing and cooking anything from the fifties with a healthy sprinkling of the forties at events. This image was taken at the Ramsey 1940’s Weekend…...Fantastic event!! /
