A copped image of the original making it perfect for use as a card. This stencil was created in early 2008 inspired by fashion photography and damp cold London. The Swallows were cut a little latter. I’ve also used a found object to create the halftone like dots that appear on her dress and in the swallows to. ‘Rain Birds’ is 1 of 3, utilising the same same stencil and composition of works I’ve posted on Red Bubble at the moment. ‘The other is snow and umbrella’ and ‘umbrella and rain’.
They said today was going to be awful, so out came the multi coloured umbrella, it was glorious, so rather than waste it i took this :-)
