If rain i will try to sing and the rain will be less bothering… Please try the shirt in the strong blue colour and the purple as well. In my zazzle shop you can find the same design showed on different models, colours and the backside printed with logo and instruction. This was taken while sitting in the car. / The blue colouring is from the tint on the top of the windscreen. / The image is actually upside down. Sabbath wrote the following for this image. Check out her works too! The lady in the sky, / Watches over us with observant eyes, / Her breath blows within our hair, / The fiery warmth from her we bear, / But now from within her cloudy throne, / She lays quiet all alone, / Little droplets from her cheeks fall, / Slowly down to share to all / Slipping down on windows and splashing / Images from trees are what her tears are capturing, / The lady in the sky, / Watches over us with observant eyes, / Her tears fall for those below, / And to be captured on the window.

I actually took this shot while “You’re not the only one” by Ammonia was playing on my Ipod. Great song fitting image. “Cuts like pins and needles, miles and miles away. I took the shot through the Windscreen of my car. I really like the effect, it seems quite sad and intimidating.

More dew drops on the spider’s web. Alas, the dew drops are courtesy of the water spray bottle, a repeat performance of a previous experiment as seen here I couldn’t resist!

Scabious is much too ugly a name for this delightful bloom (scabiosa) otherwise know as the pincushion flower. It’s a wonderfully long flowering perennial and older varieties have a gorgeous delicate fragrance. This particular plant is (even) older than me (! ? !) and has been carefully tended by my dad for decades as it came (via a removal van) from the house I was born in. Captured during a recent shower Its lovely scent is a great reminder of summers past. . . :))) Greenery is from a nearby heather and this was taken in the same rain as summer shower so it was well worth getting slightly damp! ;))

Unfortunately most plants in this stunning garden are untagged. I have no official name for this striking daisy. Taken in Lilian Fraser Garden, Pennant Hills (Sydney) Australia. Lilian Fraser (the third qualified female biologist in Australia) was born in 1908 at Kurrajong, NSW. The family moved to Pennant Hills after her father Charles purchased the ‘Hopetoun’ poultry farm in Bellamy Street sometime between 1915 and 1920. Over the years, much of the original farm was sold off as residential lots but almost an acre was kept for gardens surrounding the house. The present garden covers 3,426 square metres. Lilian Fraser lived on the property for most of her life. During a career spanning 33 years, Dr Fraser made many significant contributions to world knowledge of citrus diseases. She travelled extensively in Australia and overseas, spending her holidays exploring bushland for new plant and disease specimens. / / Following the death of her mother, Dr Fraser became more involved in the gardens surrounding the house, growing a wide range of plants. As trees and shrubs matured, the garden evolved into the woodland garden it is today. Among the wide range of plants are some very special for their size or rarity. As she approached old age with no immediate family, Dr Fraser offered her garden to Hornsby Shire Council. Her final wish was for her garden be enjoyed as a public garden and park. She died in 1987, aged 79. Landscapes Trees Cards EOD Rusty Flowers Architecture Macro CatchAll DM

This is the second time I have written this…think my first file was too big…anyway…this is a picture of my beautiful daughter Lauren. Lauren has had a hard life having been disabled in a car accident as a child but despite this she has achieved much including being a fashion model. Her face appeared in mags during the 90’s and culminated with her being the face of the Australian Couture Collection in the late 90’s. This particular photo was taken on a cold wintry day…the raindrops added to the mood of the photo…Lauren is today a writer, hoping to get a book of poetry published. comments welcome…Cheers, Geri
