After a summer rain an aspen leaf holds on to the last drops of a warm shower. Taken with a 70mm macro lens at ƒ3.2.

Horgabost beach lies on the west coast of the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The sea here is shallow and with the golden sand and in sunshine appears a riche emerald green. This is a typical Hebridean sight with a shower of rain passing on the other side of the bay whilst the sun shines. I watched the shower as it made its way down the island to be replaced by glorious sunshine

My girlfriend and I stayed at the JW Marriott on April 5th, for my B day. They have the rain showers there, I knew I had to photgraph it! I took this pic with the Panasonic LUMIX, DC VARIO, 7.2 Mega Pixel, 3x Zoom.

A rain shower swept in from the sea up along the loch and temporarily caused a chill to settle over what had been a warm sunny day. Fascinating to watch the shards of light play on the surface of the loch.
