I thought the contrast was a little harsh on the original version of this work, so I’ve softened the colour by adjusting the balance, and I’ve also added photographic filters. Sandgate during king tide a few weeks ago. / I basically used every filter I had to get 8 sec @ f16 as a wave hit the steps : / NDX, ND8, ND8 grad, ND4 grad, polarizer.
Image was taken in Washington DC, at one of the many Metro stations. I love the contrast between items in motion and the stationary objects. Processed with Redynamix to give it a slight HDR feel. Taken with Nikon D50 and Nikkor 18-70mm lens.
