This was taken on the way to Annapurna, Nepal. This little girl had been left behind by her friends who were all playing together but had run off to play with the sudden downpour of hailstones! I was watching from the safety of a tin hut!

From my interior series… Driving around town today I came upon and old tattered and abandoned Jeep. Wore out and tired she is now a home for the little critters. I photographed this boy in the village on Wasini Island, off the coast of Kenya. We had just given him some sweets. It was really sad to see the poverty that exists in Africa. Kenya is an amazing country which I reccomend you visit. The tourism industry is a major help to these people.

I looked at the morning / After being up all night / I looked at my haggard face in the bathroom light / I looked out the window / And I saw that ragged soul take flight / I saw a black crow flying / In a blue sky Joni Mitchell’s Black Crow / I’m new at collages, but I hope you like this one. I always loved Joni Mitchell’s paced song, and it just came to me as this picture came together tonight. The photos were taken in sequence as a nesting crow flew past me, again out on our door-step in Melbourne’s beautiful Hobsons Bay.
