  • Even Jesus said JESUS when he saw me ride… / You can just see it now, Jesus and his 12 best mates hanging out at Losail MotoGP track in Qatar, suddenly out of nowhere, you come flying around turn 16 and down the main straight. As you pass the start/finish line on one wheel doing well over 200mph you hear it “Jesus!” / Doesn’t it sound just awesome!

McQueen used to do a lot of racing at the nearby Laguna Seca racetrack. Someone got a shot of him just pulling off the goggles, mud and grease on his face, in his leathers, and wearing that / You Want a Piece of This? / look / he did so well and made him so interesting to watch as an actor.   • ...And the CP (Canadian Pacific) takes it by a nose with the CN (Canadian National) chugging alongside. I live in a little mountain town where the trains stop for a few minutes and crews do a changeover then stay in the bunkhouses on either side of the river for a few hours to rest up for their next trips. / These freight trains are heading west towards Vancouver. /

  • This Williams FW07C was driven by the Australian F1 World Champion Alan Jones during the 1981 season, which was his last year driving in F1. / Alan won the Driver’s World Championship driving a Williams FW07 in 1980 through his wins in the Argentine, French, British, Canadian, and United States Grand Prix. / The FW07 was further developed during the following years into the FW07B and finally the FW07C as pictured here. Best viewed large I took this shot at a recent historic event at Silverstone…and played about with it just a bit in Photoshop! / The car and sky were in the same original image, but I ‘introduced’ the bushes in the far distance from another image and brought the sky down a little in order to remove people, and other cars that were in the background. / I also had to be very patient, as every so often somebody would stop by and peer into the car getting in the way of my shot!   • The Eiffel Tower and McWherter Bridge at Paris, Tennessee.

  • During an eventful regatta at St Mary’s Loch in the lovely scottish borders a rainbow appears .. a pretty scene but one with vivid memories attached for any afloat that day with gusts touching storm force 8 capsizing most of the fleet… repeatedly..! After ten unplanned ! swims without ever reaching the start line..i cut my losses.. grabbed the camera and headed for the action from the safety of the shore..   • It was high time for a little Hot Rod action. The original shoot was at a local drive in on Route 66 in Springfield, MO. I pictured this old Ford dropping the hammer and flying down old Route 66 headed for Devil’s Elbow, MO. True…look it up :) In case you need a littleRockabilly while you view!
