Hi This shot was made at a round of the SDA ( scottish downhill accociation ) that was held at Innerliethen, Scotland. Camera Settings >> Exposure Mode >> Manual / Shutter Speed >> 1/320sec Hand held / Aperture >> F/5 / Focal Length >> 135mm Info It was shot in RAW and later converted in Photoshop CS2. Adjustment were levels, curves and colour correction. Although thousands of athletes worldwide compete at an Ironman event each year, the vast majority aim simply to just finish the course if they are first timers, or set a PR (personal record) time if they’ve raced this distance before. The Ironman Triathlon is a grueling event that pushes its participants to the limits of endurance. I completed 3 but could not start my 4th due to injury. The Couta Boats are a classic vessel originally used for fishing on the Victorian coast from the 1870s through until WW2. To obtain the best prices for their catch, the fishermen had to be first back to port after filling their quota. So, as well as being a good fishing vessel and load-carrier, the Couta Boats had to be nimble and fast under sail. They also had to take on some of Australia’s most treacherous waters through The Rip and Bass Strait, and bring crew and catch back safely. Now these distinctive little boats zip around Port Phillip Bay in highly competitive races, giving a classic look to sport on the water. More Mornington Peninsula ...

This is my friends speedometer. The picture was taken with my old canon 350d. I think its called rebell XT in the us. The car stod very much still, Anyways, the idea was to make a background picture of the M speedometer doing 300km/h. So I did. And thats where the idea came from.

A 5 dog team in the 50 mile 6 dog purebred start of the 2009 Cascade Quest Sled Dog Race’s held at the Lake Wenatchee Recreation Club in Washington state. U.S.A. A break in the old bluestone water race at The Barwon Paper Mills has now created a new waterfall. / The water race that was built in the 1800’s on the Barwon River to power a waterwheeel which ran machinery at the now, disused paper mill.
