The guy who put his hands on you has got nothing to do with me. And the bruises that you feel will heal and I hope you’ll come around because I miss you. And we used to speak so easy, but now you’re afraid to talk to me. It’s like walking with the wounded. You carry that weight way too far and the concrete pulls you down so hard. Well I never claimed to understand what happens after dark. But my fingers catch sparks at the thought of touching you. Let me break it down until I force the issue. I miss your face and you know I wish you would come back down the the Dalva Bar. I want to kiss you and knock ‘em down like we used to. You’re an angel in the pit with his hands in the air and i miss you. You say you don’t know. You say you can’t grow. All I know is that i miss you. Just show up wounded
There is a really deep message in there somewhere… i am sure. Just not clear on what it is yet!
FEATURED! JUNE 08 / HOMEPAGE! JULY 08 “I am ready for whatever’s coming. I expect nothing but to be let down or turned away. I am alone. The shit hurts sometimes, but I realize what I am, what I have become. The alien man waved his arms up and down and noticed that he couldn’t wave in the right language so he stopped.” Henry Rollins

Mash of public domain images.
When i was a wee lass i would lay on my back on my Grandparents porch at dusk and wait for the bats to fly over… There were thousands of them and it went on forever. I loved the silhouettes and the colour of the sky behind them as the sun set. I stayed there until the last few bats flew across and they all disappeared. It was a really happy time for me as a child, just watching everything fly past. There was nothing to worry about, everything was beautiful and calm while i laid there. Sittin’ in the mornin’ sun / I’ll be sittin’ when the evenin’ come / Watching the ships roll in / And then I watch ‘em roll away again, yeah I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay / Watching the tide roll away / Ooo, I’m just sittin’ on the dock of the bay / Wastin’ time So this is my other something different comp entry. I’ve never designed anything from a childhood memory, this is one of my few ‘cleaner’ shirts, and i feel like its a lot more feminine and delicate than everything else i usually do. Plus ive never done anything with bats on it – but i’ve found a sweet PD image that im going to kick around for a little while.
This actually was born though a mistake… like the best of us!

Been thinking about doing this one for a while since moving to a pretty conservative neighborhood, which sports numerous anti abortion billboards and such.
I made these 20 years ago for another shirt… and thought they looked cool on their lonesome. If you would like one on a tee colour other than blue, you need to think of a new title for the shirt before you request another colour option.
For the latest 24hour t-shirt challenge. The currents rage deep inside us / This is the age of video violence / Up in the morning, drinking his coffee / Turns on the TV to some slasher movie / Cartoon-like women, tied up and sweaty / Panting and screaming / Thank you, have a nice day.
