A visual poem.
No post-processing, just got lucky with a laser pointer.
I noticed a crystal beginning to form on a wick, so I put it under a U.V. spotlight and took some macros. The only manipulation of this shot is severe colour correction since U.V. shows as a reddish/purple hue on everything.
Waterfountain macro
Fountain macro under a U.V. spot, with some cropping.
Same as the one posted before, just different lighting.
This is my cat Maestro. He’s almost 9 this year. He’s grumpy, moody, and bites his nails when you talk about him. He’s the best.
This one I’ve intentionally washed out to highlight the eyes and nose. I did a bit of digital cleaning to make the impact a bit more. The cat’s name is Giblet and he’s a real suckie.
Almost got bit trying to get this one. The bird is normally friendly…but the closer you get…... Her name is Cleo and she is a Goffin, a subspecies of the cockatoo family.
Beautiful model, Michele Daniels, poses for this wonderful illustration of pregnancy. She’s 33 1/2 weeks at this shooting. I went a little bit digital with this one….gotta play once in awhile :)
This is the second in a high key series I’ve been experimenting with. Pentax K100D with Pentax 50mm macro lens. NOW AVAILABLE AS A TEE!!!
Many many forms in nature follow this perfect curve. Many consider this to be the ‘perfect form’....next to yours as you wear this perfect tee!! :)
Finally got transparency issue down. I hope you enjoy!!!

The 3rd and final high-key cat experiment.
It’s not smoke. It’s not material. No fractiles were harmed making this image. Can you guess what it is….?
Just some macro fun with colours. I’d be really impressed if anyone can figure this one out! Shot with Pentax K100D and Pentax 50mm macro.
Taken on April 7, 2008 at Rondeau Provincial Park – The final remains of last fall…
One end is another beginning. Sunset macro of moss at Rondeau Provincial Park. “someday you will die and somehow something’s gonna steal your carbon” -Modest Mouse – “Parting of The Sensory”
Just another reflection shot…only this one is upside down…believe it or not!!
I’m sorry to everyone who’s stopped by to view my art since it’s been a few days. I’ve found that much of my time is now spent being awa…
