Silence Lane / I love cemeteries. / For some people, cemeteries are places of dread. For me, they are places of wonderful quiet and peace. A place of resting, whatever your religion, if any. Memories wrapped in stone and tree shadows. A place to reflect, and wonder about life. Perhaps our lives are just perfect – loved ones all around, financial independence; maybe fame and fortune. / In the end, we all wind up here. / / One life, one chance to feel good about it. / My rules for photography and art are very simple – I like it, or I don’t… / / Thanks for visiting my folio :) / I certainly appreciate your taking time to view what I’ve been up to, and enjoy reading your comments. / / / / Writings (or ramblings) / Come, Dark / Chandelier Brain / Eat Me / The 10th / You’re Strange, Rick / Ever-Queen / Sleeping / Beauty / The Black, White & Grey / / / / Hope / / / One / / / Reap what you Sow / / / Trust / / / Directions / / / Unconditional Love / / / The Long Road / / / Silence Lane
Nothing like a bit of solitude when looking out to the sea.
All is calm… all is white.

“Like me mother fucker you’ve been at it for too long” / lyrics: Scream – Avenged Sevenfold Self portrait / no editing other than converting to black and white this one requires a back story, in my opinion / As some of you may know, I’m well on my way to winning a life long battle with schizophrenia/severe psychosis/multiple personality disorder (i’m not 100% clear as to what they’re saying it is now. I don’t think they’re sure either). The side of me that the medication is preventing from coming out, is a very angry, violent, disturbing, dark person from what i’ve been told and have been shown. So when people see that I’m in that state, they get quiet and away from me so nothing harmful is provoked, hence why I chose the lyrics for the title, and put the makeup to look like my mouth was stitched shut. and if you look at the song, the song fits that too. / so it’s a type of self portrait I’ve been wanting to do for a while.
All my prices have reduced until the end of december! Merry Christmas! / . / Literally Billions of requests for a white ‘tree shirt’ design for dark tees! / Hope this does the trick / . / MORE DESIGNS / . / / / / / / / /

as with my other image when solitude is required… this image was taken near a house i used to live in… / this place way my favorite place to be alone i used to find myself wandering through the bush and way down at the bottom of the hill im the middle of victorian native bushland there stood an old pine tree that didnt quite fit… as it turned out this tree became quite known to me i used to find myself here often… / it was / “my place” / somewhere to be alone and just simply be…. featured in Sepia Only / top ten place in sepia-portraits challenge
