Small, red and beautiful :) Taken in the Paluma range, just north of Townsville, Queenland, Australia.
This is a shot of the beach at Cardwell, between Tully and Ingham on the Queensland coast. /
This house belonged to our friends but they have since sold it. It’s a lovely Old Queenslander set in large grounds in Toowoomba.

Location / Moreton Bay is a large bay on the eastern coast of Australia 19 km from Brisbane, Queensland and is home to abundant wildlife, including whales, dolphins, dugong, sharks and turtles. The bay’s heritage protected wetlands, mudflats, and waterways are some of the healthiest in the region, supporting seasonally up to 25 % of Australia’s bird species. The bay extends some 160 km from Caloundra in the north almost to Surfers Paradise in the south. As the bay is separated from the Pacific Ocean by a chain of three sand islands – Moreton Island in the north, North Stradbroke Island, and South Stradbroke Island in the south, the water can be quite calm and ideal for early morning photo shoots. / The Shoot / This shoot was one of the earliest I have had to do. As it was summer time in Brisbane I had to be at the bay for 3AM to catch the pre-dawn colours. This particular morning had the potential to disappoint as the sky was covered with thick cloud. However just after 3.30AM my early morning efforts paid off as the clouds parted to my right adding some colour and interest to this peaceful seascape. / Equipment & Shoot Details / Camera Body: Canon 50D / Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM / Number of exposures: 1 / Exposure length(s): 6s / ISO Speed: ISO 100 / F-stop: f11 / Focal Length: 10mm / Filter: None used

On Sunday 26th July I took my little boy, Andrew 3 and my youngest daughter Alex, whose 10 for a Train Ride…we had gone to the Markets but the old steam train Capella was cranking up and her steam was blowing, it was too hard to resist, so on we jumped and we started our fun…Riding Capella. This is 2/30 in the Series. / I have quite a few of Riding Capella because she is such a beautifully, old restored girl that I wanted to capture all her glory whilst riding…she even has WW2 memorabilia that I will bring you…I hope you enjoy my day out with my children, Riding Capella… Capella lives at the Ravenshoe Train Yards, F.N.Q where you can ride her every Sunday at 1.00pm from Ravenshoe to Tumoulin on a track only used by her now, they even have scones! Great fun out for anyone. This one shows Capella going over a very old wooden bridge. /

Another Beautiful day down Main Beach / Gold Coast / Australia
Playing around with creating collages, I came up with a simple little cartoonish fractal design done in Apophysis 3D, made me giggle :O) Living in Far Nth Queensland, Australia, Box Jellyfish inhabit our coastal waters all through Summer, which is a bummer but it’s usually raining anyway so we swim in Winter up here cause it’s hot and dry….but they are always lurking, waiting for the unsuspecting tourist….the Jelly Fishez of Far North Queenland. Birds In Motion Apophysis is another cartoon style fractal in bright fruit salad colours! /
