Dusk on the River Tyne, looking over the Eye -the Millenium Bridge – and the Sage across the river in Gateshead / / / Featured in Night Photography
we were out for a walk on the quayside in Newcastle and the gulls were going crazy, managed to get this one catching a piece of bread and even managed to get half the tyne bridge in !!!! lucky or what :-)
Colourful houses stacked onto the hillside around Brixham harbour in Torbay, South Devon, with the setting sun perfectly complimenting the illuminated shopfronts on the harbourside. A single trawler is moored beside the quay safely home from a day of fishing. The fishermen had their catch of the day, as did I. View the rest of our portfolio here Or visit our own website here
The famous Tyne Bridge in Newcastle and the Sage music centre.
Part of Newcastle’s skyline, viewed from the Tyne Bridge just after sunrise.
Sunrise, looking from the span of the Tyne Bridge towards the Millennium Bridge, the Sage and the Baltic.
One of my favorite shots of the sage, loved the way it was reflecting the sunset on the huge expanse curved glass, balanced by the colder hues of the steel surrounding it.

Smoking. Femme fatale, film noir style. / Low-key portraits are my all time favourite thing. This image forms part of my project about smoking. I have asked everyone I have photographed for permission first. I felt it was important to be honest, up front and to respect people. I think it is still possible to get a pure image even though I have made myself known to the subject. / This was taken at Newcastle Quayside.
The Newcastle and Gateshead Millennium Bridge (UK) with The Sage Music venue and The Tyne Bridge in the background. / This was one of a series of pics I took on first night shoot, I’d only had the camera a week or so and I’m really, really pleased with how this has turned out. An uncharacteristically normal shot for me, not a bit of peeling paint or broken window in sight! Taken on a recent wander along the river, this is Newcastle / Gateshead’s Millennium Bridge, known locally to a lot as the blinking eye bridge. The entire structure rotates through 40 degrees when pushed by the three hydraulic rams at each edge, lifting the coloured archway you see here and the walkway slung from it high into the air to allow ships to pass underneath.
Another non-dereliction picture from me, dont worry, normal service will be resumed soon :P A picture of arguably the three most famous bridges that span the tyne, namely the Swing Bridge, Tyne Bridge and the Millennium Bridge, from front to back. Also on the right can be seen the top of the Sage, Gateshead, a world renowned concert hall and the Baltic Contemporary Art Gallery can be seen above the centre of the Swing Bridge.
Part of the quay at Mullion Harbour on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall, UK. I used my Sigma 70-300 at 150mm to take this. Hope you like it. / Thank you for looking. Best Viewed Large.
on the Hillside. LOL. This is a section view of Brixham, Devon, England, looking across the harbour. Canvas texture added to give it an oil painting effect. Hope you like it. / Thanks for looking. Best Viewed Large.
Ah the famous Falmouth (Cornwall-UK) Regatta Week. Much enjoyed by locals, sailors and tourists alike. Much in the way of hair being let down. Loads of bands playing. I love it. / In the middle under the green windows is my fav pub. Brimming with musician friends, UNI art students. Wonderful. . / . / . / . / . / . /
Taken at Exeter Quayside in Exeter, South Devon. England, UK Trying a little High Key editing on this one. / I like the way that this turned out. / Hope you do also. / Thank you for looking :))
