Hello everyone, interesting things pop up in conversation here all the time but I find this topic fascinating. I have a weird life anyway generally, but this got me wondering, particularly after hearing from georgiegirl. I thought I would throw this thought out the the conscious and subconscious to see what thoughts others thought. It could be thought provoking… / As for me, I fully believe in it, the magic of creation is the strongest there is, who knows what it is capable of. And computers are strangely individual instruments, no matter how much you try to predict their functions, there is always that element of surprise, it does what IT wants to do (pardon the pun), who knows what quantum mechanics is capable of… they say in the consmological thinking world that electrons could have consciousness… in my experience everything has consciousness. A universal constant, which controlled the nature of the universe is seen as a force that allows the expansion of the cosmos, but such a universal constant would effect our very being, permeating every molecule of our existence. Like the stars, we too are expanding, ever so slightly to infinity.

Quantum Gate Hi ‘my name is Grendd,I took this pic with my fathers camera and I also wrote a bit about it.Its kinda KKoolll. On my planet of Solar Flare,an edifice was unearthed on an isle to the south of the Spires of Gottt ,(the Spires have really good stories too,I might tell of those later.) / My father says over many years it was studied in much depth,(it started long before I was hatched) until one day a conclusion was reached. It was decided by the best minds that the building contained a “Dimensional Quantum Star Portal”.I mean how KKoolll is that! Nobody wanted to take responsibility for turning it on, but that excuse was taken away when a member of the cleaning staff started dusting the power consul. / Maybe it was a little too much pressure,maybe the cleaner stumbled, whatever, the portal was set in motion,in a matter of seconds a power surge drained every light source on the planet. / The edifice burned with the light of a small sun, the air around it seemed to shimmer and stretch. Then almost instantly 4 “star portals” opened in the heavens above. KKoolll! My dad says they go to another dimension,maybe they go to yours? If you are looking at this then I guess it got through! I went up to the portal on a dare,and threw the container with the pic and story in. / Many months have passed but they burn there still, and are best seen at sunset. Its almost as if we are waiting for something to appear, and of course we have to wait also for the “best minds” to tell what’s going to happen next. If it was up to my friends and I, we’d just step through, we are thinking maybe some dark night we may just do it!! Well maybe!

Thanks :-) I have long been fascinated with math and art as well as the human psyche and psychology. I like to examine through art ideas and perceptions that often are surreal and expressive. I always have something to say LOL Visual expression is my favorite but I also like expressing through music and the written word. I love being and expression and asking questions. Art without an observer is just stuff. Much as humans can affect the outcome of a quantum experiment, so do human affect the expression of a conscious being and call the effect Art. Have a lovely and grand moment / Some may call the moment life / Tom

Before my Nanny (Gorgina) Borroff completely lost her ability to speak because of vascular dementia. She fought hard to get across her meaning. It has been heartbreaking trying to try to pick up on what she wanted to say with seemingly random words with desperation. somtimes it felt like if I looked hard enough her efforts felt profound. / strangely after a poetry workshop at her day centre everything she said from that point was then carried with a poetic rythm. similar to the rythm I fell into writing this. I hope I have passed on the meaning I found in her, all of my family and friends and the places I love. This is my first attempt at poetry so please bare with me. Just really had to get something off my chest. You may have noticed that it’s changed a little bit since it first went up but I think I’m done now. I dare you to google an Oil Beetle, it’s not for the faint hearted.

UDS: Universal Denomination System. The scheme of existence represented in the chaos of colours and words. But words are only apparent in this seemingly random number of the structural sequence. Not all the UDS is composed by the will of men. Humanity is nothing but a microscopic bit inside the gigantic grid of connections and concepts. Lux in vitro. Pax in Paradisus. Quantum Infinitum. The Universe. The Universes. That’s what the UDS tries to output. And then, the waves of uncertainty invert the number. Or simply switch the structure to obtain the Inversal UDS. Work done entirely with Photoshop CS3, making use of dozens of layers and a lot of tweaking with the colour balance. This started out as a sketch behind a random paper from Univ.
